What does the program consist of?

During the summer we organise a very comprehensive program for students of Spanish who want to improve their knowledge while living with a host familiy and having a great time! The program includes:

15 hours of Spanish lessons per week
2 or 3 cultural tours per week
2 afternoons of sport or dance per week
1 evening per week at our Private Disco
1 full-day excursion per stay to Port Aventura theme park

Which sport to choose?

Varied sports essentially beach games (beach volley, beach tennis.)
Flamenco or Salsa dance classes
Windsurf for lovers of water sport

Exhibition organized by the International Center of Photography, New York (ICP) in co-production with the MNAC.

Robert Capa was one of the most outstanding photographers of the 20th century. His pictures were published in the most important illustrated magazines, where he made his name, and in which he honed his technique as a master of modern photojournalism. This is war! Robert Capa at work is a pioneering exhibition that takes a fresh look at Capa’s contribution during the 1930s and 1940s.

Sharing the room with this show, the MNAC is exhibiting Gerda Taro, the first major retrospective dedicated to this photojournalist, Capa’s collaborator and lover.

The MNAC is playing host to the two exhibitions precisely in 2009, the 70th anniversary of the end of the Spanish Civil War.

U2 – 360º Tour – EUROPE

U2 unveiled their ‘Space Station‘ in Barcelona last night and 90,000 Spanish fans gave it lift off.

The U2 360° Tour will visit 14 cities across Europe including dates in Barcelona, Milan, Paris, Nice, Berlin, Amsterdam, Dublin, Gothenburg, Gelsenkirchen, Chorzow, Zagreb, London, Sheffield and Glasgow before finishing at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on August 22.
